Shipping & Delivery

The risk of loss and title for all merchandise ordered on this Web site pass to you when the merchandise is delivered to the shipping carrier.  Watt-man.com ships merchandise to locations within the United States, Canada, Australia/New Zealand and the small part of Europe not in the EU due to the recent VAT collection requirement.  If you're in Europe but not in Switzerland, Norway or Iceland, scroll down below the four shipping fees below for details on how you can still get your Thermo-Bob.

Shipping fees break into four regions:

• USA: 6% of total purchase, $4.95 USD minimum charge.
• CANADA: 15% of total purchase, $14.95 USD minimum charge.
• AUSTRALIA & NEW ZEALAND (when their postal service resumes):  20% of total purchase, $16.95 USD minimum charge.
• Other INTERNATIONAL locations: 18% of total purchase, $14.95 USD minimum charge.

BELOW ARE OPTIONS IF YOU LIVE IN THE EU (EUROPEAN UNION)...

In July 2021, the new EU rules came out where we would have to collect VAT during the sale and then mail it to each country where the purchase came from, so we’ve stopped listing most EU countries during checkout.  However, you still have two options: 

(1) We still ship to US addresses, so if you can find a shipper that will send it from any US address to you, then order your kit and have it shipped to that US address.  At least the shipping for that first step will be less, giving you a head start on what the shipping fee will be from the shipper to the EU.

(2) If you’re willing to take the “DDU” option below, order your kit at our site and put in your address, but list “ICELAND” as your country.  Then of course remind us in your comments that you really want “ICELAND” replaced with your country's name when we print your shipping label.  Be sure that you’ve provided your phone number (we’ll also include that and your e-mail address on the label).  This contact information helps customs officials resolve issues and collect any owed amounts.

After July 1, 2021, all goods imported to the EU valued at up to 150 euros (approximately $178) will be subject to VAT and items valued at more than 150 euros will be subject to VAT and duties. VAT rates are different for each EU country based on the service and type of product being delivered, with most VAT fees ranging around 20% of the total cost (sales price plus shipping).  

#2 Delivery Duty Unpaid (DDU): This option only requires the recipient’s email or phone number, an accurate product description and a HS Code. The downsides to shipping orders using DDU are that since the VAT is not paid at the shopping cart, the buyer in the EU country becomes responsible for paying the fees before they can receive their product.
